Smart Power Systems and Controls Lab (https://www.spsc-lab.com/) at Clarkson University is recruiting a Ph.D. student for Spring 2020. The candidate will work on resilient control for power and energy systems. The ideal candidate should have/be 1. a solid background power and energy systems 2. excellent at control and optimization. 3. good at machine learning techniques (supervised, unsupervised, or reinforcement learning). 4. experience in real-time systems and hardware-in-the-loop. 5. completed TOEFL/IELTS 6. an M.S. degree by the time of enrollment.
